Silver Eagle Frontlet Brooch, Alaskan Native Style, cast in eco friendly reclaimed Sterling silver

$129.00

I live in the Chilkat Valley in Haines, Alaska. It is also known as the "Valley of Eagles". I see Eagles soaring overhead everyday. And I never get tired of it. We have an Eagle Festival every November to celebrate, educate and revel in our majestic raptors. I invite you all to join us!

In addition to being one of the two Native Tlingit moieties in this region Eagles represent so many things for me. The way they soar above everything, their vision clear and sharp, inspires me to do the same. Soar above politics, above troubles, above the conflicts. Witness with clarity and take action with surety. Above all, live wild and free.

This piece is designed in the shape of a miniature Frontlet, and important piece of dance regalia.

As with all of my silver designs I first carved this piece in a hard wax then had it cast in eco friendly reclaimed Sterling Silver.

This Frontlet measures 2" x 1 & 1/4"
