Alaskan Bear Totem Pendant, Northwest Coast Native Style, cast in eco friendly reclaimed sterling silver, on 20" silver rope chain

I live in the Chilkat Valley in Haines, Alaska. A great many bears also call this valley their home. I carved this piece to honor them. It represents a mother bear and her cub and is carved in the Northwest coast style of the Tlingit Natives who have lived here much longer than me. It is with respect and permission that I make my art.
As with all of my jewelry, I first carve in wax and then have this original cast in eco friendly reclaimed Sterling Silver.
This pendant is 2" long.
It will come on a 20" sterling chain, in a lovely royal blue velveteen pouch, with a story card and a polishing pad.

Lovely piece! Very substantial! Also converted to a pin. This piece and the matching earrings are well worth the price. Could easily sell for more! Thank you for the great pricing! Always wanted something along this design to too expensive! Very happy I found this vendor in my own state! Will checking for new items! My second purchase from Debi! Wonderful artist!!

Wow............what a necklace. Quite substantial and spot on with the bear detail work. Really cool too that you can wear it as either a pin or a necklace. This piece reminds me of the totems that I saw in Sitka, Alaska and I had to have it to remind me of my fabulous trips to the most beautiful state in the US. I have many of Debi's pieces and I treasure all of them. She is a very talented lady and a delight to work with. This piece does not disappoint. Highly recommend.
