The Lovebirds represent the native Tlingit moieties, Raven and Eagle. The Raven is identified by the longer straight beak, the Eagle has the shorter curved beak. And not so surprising, the Chilkat Valley is home to those very same raptors. Traditionally, in Tlingit society, Ravens would only marry Eagles and visa versa, hence the Lovebirds.
I intentionally designed this ring with Eagle and Raven flying side by side. As partners. As equals.
For me they have also come to represent balance in an ever more unbalanced world.
As with all of my silver designs I first carved this piece in a hard wax then had it cast in reclaimed Sterling Silver.
It is available in sizes: 6 - 7- 8 - 9 - 10 - 11 - 12
Your Lovebirds ring will arrive in a lovely royal blue velveteen pouch with story card and polishing cloth.

I really like my silver lovebirds raven and eagle ring. It's very well made and a nice weight to it. You can definitely see the carvings of their faces. Really nice PNW ring to add to my collection.

I didn’t need any customer service but the artist was very nice and responsive to me. This is a beautiful beautiful ring. Very well made and I can tell it was made with Love. Debi (the artist) got it to me quickly. I am extremely happy with this purchase!!!

The item definitely met expectations, my husband was very happy with his gift. I'm Tlingit Eagle Clan, and when I seen the love birds I was in awe! So beautiful, well worth it.
