Reinterpreting the Wild Woman of the Woods of native mythology, typically portrayed as a monster, I carved her into a beautiful, strong wise-woman. She is framed on a Tenah, or Copper, signifying prosperity. It is always distressing to me to see strong women demonized so I did what I could to correct the matter.
This piece was created with honor, respect and permission. I first hand carved it in a hard wax then had it cast in eco friendly, up cycled, reclaimed sterling silver.
She comes with a pin-back and is strung on an 20" Sterling Silver chain so may be worn as a brooch or a necklace and measures 1 1/2" x 1".
She will arrive in a lovely royal blue velveteen pouch with a story card and polishing pad.
